Class Descriptions


All Cats   A mixed level class designedto explore all the fundamental poses including sun salutations, standing and seated postures, twists, backbends and supported inversions . Variations and modifications are given to adjust your practice while you gain confidence, strength and flexibility.  This class will leave you feeling refreshed and recharged. Appropriate for most levels.

Flowing Cats  A flowing, invigorating vinyasa practice focused on connecting breath and movement with some options and modifications given to allow for various levels of yoga experience.  Appropriate for most levels.

Mellow Cats  Expect to flow slowly and mindfully with a focus on stress relief, stretching and strengthening through body and breath awareness.   Enjoy some easy flow movements to loosen your body followed by a combination of calming restorative poses to rejuvenate your body and mind. Appropriate for all levels.

New Cats This class is an introduction to fundamental yoga poses focusing on proper alignment and use of props. Working at a slower pace to build the mind-body-breath connection, this class encourages questions and allows you to feel safe and comfortable. Appropriate for all levels.

Pilates Detail oriented, concentrated movements focusing on strength, muscle toning, body control, with the main emphasis being core strength.  

Warrior Cats  An empowering hybrid class utilizing a blend of yoga and Pilates inspired movements with elastic bands to build core strength and endurance. Bands for all levels provided and modifications offered.

Wild Cats   A fun, energetic class featuring arm balances, backbends and inversions as well as classical poses. Practice alongside the teacher with time allowed to explore poses for a deeper understanding of subtle alignment.  Appropriate for active students with yoga experience

Yin Cats Yin Yoga targets the connective tissue of the hips, pelvis and lower spine. Connective tissue responds best to gentle stress over a long period of time, so Yin postures are held for longer periods. This type of practice complements the more muscular styles of yoga and is a great aid for learning to sit in meditation.  Appropriate for most levels.

 Zen Cats  Deeply relaxing and renewing, this class utilizes soft, supportive bolsters, blankets and blocks to support the body in poses that are held for approximately 3-5 minutes. Moving at a significantly slower pace, this class takes on a more meditative quality and sense of turning inward. Great for beginners and advanced yogi’s looking to deepen their practice with more stillness.
