Heather found her sacred space on the mat in 2010. Yoga transformed her by helping her to release stress, develop a more mindful, healthy lifestyle, and connect with her true Self. Heather loves to teach restorative, Yin, and adaptive/therapeutic practices to assist others in reducing stress and finding the space to be themselves. Heather understands that each person’s Yoga practice is unique and encourages students to engage in Svadhyaya (self-inquiry) into the physical and internal experiences of their practice.
Heather completed the 200-hour certification at True Nature School of Yoga and the Happy Back certification for spinal health through Embody Physical Therapy and Yoga. She has continued advanced studies in Yin Yoga and Yoga applications for stress and mood disorders.
Off the mat, you will find Heather serving as an active member of the community, playing outside, spending time with her five rescue animals, including a deaf Pitbull named Dosha, and being her colorful, free-spirited Self.
