Jodi Doucette received her RYT 500-hour certification in yoga at MiraCosta College.
She is also certified in MELT Hand and Foot and Level I, which is a fascia and joint method to release “stuck stress” in the body and to address chronic pain. She is also trained in Reiki and certified in pregnancy yoga.
Her yoga style has focused on Vinyasa Flow, as she likes the energy it builds and mild aerobic affect it can offer. Her training and current practice also include different styles, including Restorative and Hatha. She integrates her asana physical practice with mindfulness and meditation methods.
Jodi knows first-hand the importance of balance for professionals and the challenges while working in today’s fast-paced environment. She was a trial lawyer for many years and has incorporated yoga and meditation into her life, to bring her well-being into better focus.
Her personal interests have always focused on fitness, having hiked all over the world, participated in international yoga retreats, ran long distance at college for Pepperdine University, and taught group fitness at the University of SD for staff and students. Her three adult children share in her love of yoga and fitness.
